Welcome to DriveUp Driving School. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for using our services. By booking lessons or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you have any questions, please contact us by using the contact page.
1. General
1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by DriveUp Driving School.
1.2. The driving school reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on our website.
2. Eligibility
2.1. All learners must hold a valid and appropriate driving license (e.g., Provisional Driving License) for the duration of the lessons.
2.2. Learners must present their license during the first lesson. Failure to do so may result in lesson cancellation without refund.
3. Lesson Bookings and Payments
3.1. Lessons must be booked in advance and confirmed with a payment or deposit.
3.2. Payments can be made via bank transfer or through the Total Drive App.
3.3. Any promotional offers or discounts are non-transferable and must be redeemed within the specified period.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
4.1. Lessons can be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice.
4.2. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a cancellation fee of the lesson payment.
4.3. If the instructor cancels a lesson due to unforeseen circumstances, it will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
5. Lesson Conduct
5.1. Learners are expected to be punctual and arrive in a fit state for driving (e.g., not under the influence of alcohol or drugs).
5.2. The instructor reserves the right to refuse a lesson if they believe the learner is unfit to drive or poses a safety risk.
5.3. Mobile phones and other distractions are not allowed during lessons.
6. Driving Tests
6.1. The driving school can assist with booking practical driving tests but is not responsible for test outcomes or booking errors caused by third parties.
6.2. Learners must provide at least 2 weeks notice if they wish to use a school vehicle for the test.
7. Liability
7.1. The driving school will ensure vehicles are roadworthy, insured, and properly maintained.
7.2. The driving school is not responsible for any damages, injuries, or fines incurred outside of lesson times.
7.3. Learners are financially responsible for any damages caused to the vehicle due to reckless behaviour during lessons.
7.4 Learners are financially responsible for any endorsements or penalties received on lesson due to their error.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
8.1. Any personal information collected by DriveUp Driving School will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8.2. Learners’ data will not be shared with third parties without prior consent, except as required by law.
9. Complaints and Feedback
9.1. Any complaints should be reported to DriveUp Driving School promptly via the Contact Us Page.
9.2. The driving school will make every effort to resolve issues in a timely and fair manner.
10. Governing Law
10.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of His Majesties Courts.
10.2. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
